Two men and a woman were arrested Thursday in a meth bust in Moncks Corner.
Acting on a tip, drug-enforcement agents with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office found an active meth lab at a house at 124 Chris Lane, spokesman Dan Moon said. The house is near U.S. Highway 17-A and Farrell Street.
Deputies smelled a strong chemical odor and observed a thick white cloud coming from inside the house. They got a search warrant and found an active meth lab in the kitchen, along with ingredients to make and use methamphetamine throughout the house, Moon said.
Bryan Allen Adkins, 26, of Chris Lane; Mathew Benjamin Legette, 32, of Volunteer Lane, Summerville; and Brittney Dane Euthon, 23, of Bayboro Circle, Goose Creek; were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. They were being held in the Berkeley County jail Thursday.
Agents expect to make more arrests, Moon said.
