SAVANNAH — The Charleston RiverDogs limited Savannah to just two runs on nine hits as the RiverDogs topped the Sand Gnats, 4-2, in South Atlantic League

action on Wednesday.

With the victory, the RiverDogs improve to 26-17 overall and remain in sole possession of first place in the Southern Division standings. With the loss, Savannah drops to 25-19 and falls into third place in the Southern Division standings.

The RiverDogs return home to Riley Park today for a four-game series against the Greenville Drive. Game 1 is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. with the RiverDogs scheduled to send RHP Vicente Campos (1-1, 3.86 ERA). Greenville counters with LHP Cody Kukuk (2-5, 5.10).
