A man was stabbed in the arm after two men stopped their cars in traffic in Mount Pleasant Thursday afternoon and started fighting, according to police.

The confrontation started about 2:45 p.m. on S.C. Highway 41 near U.S. Highway 17, Mount Pleasant Police Maj. Stan Gragg said. Two men stopped their cars in traffic, got out and started arguing, Gragg said. One of the men attacked the other and was stabbed in the upper arm, Gragg said.

Neither party wanted to press charges, Gragg said.
