A North Charleston restaurant caught fire Wednesday morning on Remount Road.

Firefighters were called to Caliente Bar and Grill at 10:30 a.m. and saw smoke coming from the building. The bar was not open yet and when staff members arrived they saw the smoke and called 911, according to Bianca Bourbeau, the North Charleston Fire Department spokeswoman.

Firefighters contained the fire to the back portion of the bar and put it out.

No one was reported injured, officials said. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
