CLEMSON - The ACC baseball tournament will settle in Durham, N.C., hosted by Duke University, for the next four years beginning in 2015.

Durham Bulls Athletic Park had been alternating with Greensboro as the host site since 2009; Greensboro is where teams will convene starting Tuesday through May 25 for the 2014 championships.

Hopes for the tournament to move closer to Clemson - say, at Greenville's Fluor Field, home of the Boston Red Sox affiliate Greenville Drive - have been dashed for the foreseeable future. The last time the ACC tournament stayed in the state of South Carolina was 2000-01, at Knights Stadium in Fort Mill.

The tournament was held at Greenville Municipal Stadium from 1987-95, and in Clemson 1976-78.

The Clemson baseball team (32-21, 13-13 ACC) wraps up its regular season today through Saturday hosting Boston College (21-31, 9-18) at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The Tigers must win the three-game series to avoid their first sub-.500 ACC campaign since 2008, not to mention bolster their wavering NCAA tournament hopes.

In other ACC news, the conference announced its host tournament sites for the 2014-15 season. Clemson's Lake Hartwell will host the women's rowing championships for the sixth straight spring and 13th time in 15 years.
